Privacy Policy
Effective September 6, 2026 · Last updated September 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Dagaz Apps LLC (“Dagaz Apps,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the website at dagazapps.com and related pages that link to this policy (the “Site”).
Quiet Light, our mindfulness companion app, is a separate product. Data collected in that app is governed by the Quiet Light Privacy Policy, not this document.
This policy is a disclosure of our practices. Using the Site does not, by itself, constitute consent to processing where a different legal basis is required (for example, under the GDPR).
1. Who is responsible
The controller of personal information collected through the Site is:
Dagaz Apps LLC
A Florida limited liability company
Email: hello@dagazapps.com
We do not publish a street address on this Site. For service of process or formal legal notices, contact us at the email above and we will provide our registered agent details.
2. Information we collect
Information you choose to send
If you email us or (when enabled) submit the contact form, we receive whatever you include: typically your name, email address, company (optional), topic, and message. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, government IDs, or sensitive health information through the Site.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers may process technical data such as:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Browser type, device type, operating system, and language
- Pages viewed, referring URL, and timestamps
- Basic performance metrics (for example, page load timing)
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. These tools are designed to measure traffic and performance without advertising cookies and without selling your data. They may still process IP addresses and device information as part of delivering the Site and producing aggregate reports for us.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels on the Site. Essential technologies may be used to operate the Site (for example, to remember your light/dark theme preference in your browser). Theme preference is stored locally on your device, not on our servers.
We do not run a cookie banner because we do not use non-essential marketing cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and obtain any consent the law requires.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site
- Respond to inquiries and keep a record of correspondence
- Understand aggregate traffic and performance
- Detect abuse, spam, and security incidents
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Site data for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not build marketing profiles from Site visits.
4. Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar laws)
Where those laws apply, we process personal data on these bases:
- Legitimate interests — to run a studio website, answer mail, keep the Site secure, and understand aggregate usage, in ways that do not override your rights
- Contract / pre-contract steps — when you ask us about a product, partnership, or press inquiry and we need your details to reply
- Legal obligation — when we must keep or disclose information to comply with law
- Consent — only if we ever introduce optional processing that requires it; you may withdraw consent at any time
5. How we share information
We share information only as needed with:
- Vercel Inc. — hosting, content delivery, analytics, and performance measurement
- Email delivery providers (currently Resend, when the contact form is enabled) — to send and receive inquiry mail
- Professional advisers — lawyers, accountants, or insurers under confidentiality, if needed
- Authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or security
- A buyer — if we sell or reorganize the studio, under appropriate safeguards
Service providers are allowed to process information only on our instructions and for the purposes above, except where they independently determine processing under their own privacy notices (for example, infrastructure logs).
6. Retention
Inquiry emails are kept as long as needed to respond, maintain a business record, and meet legal, tax, or dispute-related obligations — typically up to 24 months unless a longer period is required. Analytics are kept in aggregate or for short operational windows set by the provider. We delete or de-identify information when we no longer need it.
7. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, and reputable infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of the Site or of email.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may not provide the same legal protections as your home country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by our providers (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
9. Children
The Site is for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the digital-consent age in your country, which may be up to 16). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email hello@dagazapps.com and we will delete it.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may also have rights to know the categories of personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CPRA. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right-to-limit notice.
To exercise rights, email hello@dagazapps.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We will verify your request before fulfilling it and respond within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent as permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
If we cannot verify a request, or an exception applies (for example, legal holds), we will explain why.
11. Do not track
The Site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals. We do not track you across third-party websites for advertising.
12. Third-party sites
The Site links to products we publish (including quietlight.app) and to app stores. Those sites have their own policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. For material changes, we will post the revised policy on this page. Where the law requires notice or consent, we will provide it. Continued use of the Site after an update means the new policy applies to later collection; it does not retroactively change how we handled information already collected, except as the law allows.
14. Contact
Privacy questions and rights requests: hello@dagazapps.com.
Related documents: Terms of Use.
